The 2007 London Circuit

As a reward for finishing my fifth exam, I decided to take the afternoon off to enjoy some "fresh air". Greg met up with me at school, we laced up our running shoes and off we were with no specific destination in mind. Our walk began through the "Legal London" area, we walked by Temple Church (this site may of interest to DiVinci Code fans), we then walked along the Thames River by the Victoria Embankment, passed by Big Ben and Westminster Abbey and then made our way to Buckingham Palace walking through St. James Park and then Green Park. No sign of the Queen. Then, we walked through Hyde Park and then made our way to the Marble Arch and Harrods in Knightsbridge. Yes, at that point my feet began to feel sore. On the way back, we decided to walk along Oxford Street. We discovered the wonderful world of Primark and grabbed a few fantastic deals and off were down the busy Oxford Street making our way home. Oxford Street on a Friday afternoon in June - not for those who need space - yup.. there were a few people around!!! Below our some pictures from our afternoon. Really the story is about temporary freedom, parks, walking and people. Tomorrow, back to the library to prepare for the 6th and final exam...
Greg's addition to my story: "We met the duck in Legal London - Donald, Q.C."
